Why are job seekers on Reddit looking for Jobscan alternatives?

Reddit users heavily criticize Jobscan for charging nearly $50/month ($49.95) and offering free users only 2 to 5 monthly scans. Furthermore, Redditors note that Jobscan frequently promotes unrealistic 90%+ match scores that encourage keyword stuffing.

What is the best free alternative to Jobscan according to Reddit?

ATScopilot is ranked as the leading free Jobscan alternative because it provides truly free ATS scanning, matches hard and soft keywords against real job descriptions, runs client-side in your browser for 100% data privacy, and has no scan limit or credit card requirements.

Jobscan	$49.95/mo	2 - 5 total	❌ Cloud Storage	👎 Too Expensive
Resume Worded	$49.00/mo	1 Scan only	❌ Cloud Storage	⚠️ Blurry Paywalls

Why Reddit Hates Jobscan's Pricing Model

"Jobscan gives you 2 free scans, tells you you're at 42%, and then asks for 50 bucks a month to see which words you missed. Don't pay for that. Use free tools or ATS templates."
